The charming town of Aberaeron lies between Cardigan and Aberystwyth on the Ceredigion coast of West Wales. With its rows of colourful Regency houses, bustling quayside, fresh seafood and locally produced honey ice cream, Aberaeron is a favourite destination among locals and holiday makers throughout the year.
Aberaeron offers an inviting selection of cafés, restaurants, and pubs as well as an eclectic mix of independent shops to browse. Located on the south of town, the Aberaeron Craft Centre also houses a wide range of crafts and gifts made by local artisans.
During the summer months Aberaeron hosts the Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival and Festival of Welsh Ponies and Cobs. For younger visitors, a children's playground and large playing field can be found in Alban Square whilst Aberaeron's quayside offers an ideal location to try a spot of crabbing.
